Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently in-network with Aetna. I also provide superbills for clients with out-of-network PPO benefits — many clients are able to get partial reimbursement from their insurance provider. I’d recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking about your out-of-network mental health benefits before your first session.
What is your session fee?
Please reach out directly for current self-pay rates. I’m happy to discuss fees during out free 15-minute consultation.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes, I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation so we can get a sense of whether we’d be a good fit before committing to the process. There’s no pressure — it’s just a chance to connect and ask questions.
Where are you located?
I see clients in person at The Kineo Center, located at 5320 N. 16th St. #110, Phoenix, AZ 85016. Free parking is available on site. I also offer virtual sessions to clients throughout Arizona.
Do you offer telehealth or virtual therapy?
Yes — I offer virtual sessions via a secure HIPAA-compliant platform to anyone located in Arizona. Virtual therapy works really well for busy schedules, people outside of Phoenix, or anyone who simply prefers the comfort of their own space.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is really just a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, a bit about your background, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with — we go at your pace.
How long does therapy take?
That really depends on you, your goals, and what you’re working through. Some people find significant relief in a few months, others prefer longer term support. We’ll check in regularly about how things are feeling and adjust as needed — you’re always in the driver’s seat.
What therapy approaches do you use?
My approach is primarily person-centered, meaning I follow your lead and trust that you are the expert on your own life. I also integrate ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and mindfulness-based techniques to help you build psychological flexibility and reconnect with your values.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please reach out for current cancellation policy details. I’m happy to discuss this during our consultation.
What is ketamine-assisted therapy and do you offer it?
Yes — I have completed specialized training in ketamine-assisted therapy (KAT) and offer it to both existing and new clients at our Phoenix location. KAT combines the neurological effects of ketamine with therapeutic support to help clients access healing that can feel out of reach through traditional therapy alone. It may be especially helpful for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, or feeling deeply stuck. Please reach out to discuss whether KAT might be a good fit for you.
